Ticks...Ticks...and more Ticks....

I was scrolling through Facebook this morning and I came across a link that talks about tips to prevent ticks.  I've lived in Connecticut all of my life. My father suffered from Lyme disease. Treatment back then was a lot different than now. Warnings and concerns are more heavily available. It appears that this season will show an increase in ticks and you need to do many things to prevent a tick bite. First, I would suggest clothing. Second, using a spray that can prevent the ticks and other insects from being attracted to you. Third, after you, your family, and even your pets come inside search thoroughly...

Oh warm weather....where are you?

It's hard to believe we're almost halfway through May and the weather here in Connecticut is still nippy in the morning.  That doesn't seem to be stopping the ticks though. I keep hearing reports about how bad the ticks will be this spring and summer. Bug Guard is the best option to help with any of the insects, esp the ticks.
